When Qingming arrives, every corner of China is immersed in deep remembrance of heroic martyrs. In the martyr cemeteries, evergreen pines and cypresses stand among rows of tombstones. The lives of these heroes may have perished in the smoke and flames of war, but their loyal spirits live on forever in the hearts of the people, becoming a source of inspiration for future generations.

An ancient saying goes: "Life and death are determined by fate, wealth and honor depend on heaven". This broad-minded view of life and death makes the Qingming Festival less sorrowful and more philosophical. After the tomb-sweeping, people also gather with their families to share stories of their ancestors and enjoy traditional food like qingtuan (green rice balls) and mugwort cakes, which serve as bonds of emotion.

In the spring breeze, people fly kites, swing, admire flowers, and stroll on the grass, feeling the vitality of life. This integration with nature makes the Qingming Festival a bridge connecting the past and future, death, and rebirth.
